Help · No heat

House cold. Now what?

A few safe checks — then call. This page won’t claim to fix your furnace from the internet.

No-heat calls get priority — same-day when possible.

Gas smell, sparks, or scorched wiring? Leave the area, don’t flip breakers repeatedly, and call your gas utility / emergency line as needed — then Jeff at (208) 210-6141 for the equipment side once it’s safe.

Quick checks (no tools)

  • Thermostat on Heat, setpoint above room temp
  • Furnace switch On; breaker not tripped (reset once only)
  • Filter not packed with dust — replace if you can’t see light through it
  • Vents open in the rooms that feel coldest

Common questions

The blower runs but the air is cold

That often means the furnace isn’t lighting or staying lit — not something to keep cycling. Call for a heat visit so ignition and safety controls get checked properly.

It clicks but never starts

Clicking without heat can be ignition, flame sensing, or a safety switch. Safe check: power + thermostat + filter. Beyond that, get a tech on site.

Will you come same-day?

No-heat gets priority and same-day when possible across Boise and the Treasure Valley. Hours 7:00 AM–8:00 PM Mon–Sun. Call (208) 210-6141 — you’ll get a straight answer on timing.

Next step
